What they are currently calling "metal" is just idiocy rock. While I've honestly never heard of most of the stuff on here (though it's kind of hard to miss Green Day) I give you a big pile of points for Meat loaf. He's at the top of my list.

Nah, I'm not much of a fan of Green Day. I think I only like Meat Loaf 'cause of his songs and lyrics. Plus, they tend to show both sides of romance: the romantic, lovey-dovey side and the heartbreaking, angst side. His songs are great sources for inspiration for my fanfictions.

My only favourite song is "It's All Coming Back To Me Now", 'cause it suits one of my favourite star-crossed couples, Count Bleck/Count or Lord Blumiere x Tippi/Lady Timpani, from the 2007 Wii game, Super Paper Mario, which is the third game in the Paper Mario series. Oddly enough, the storylines keeps getting darker and darker with each new installment. Hmm... I wonder if the upcoming installment, Paper Mario: Sticker Star, will be dark as well?
