Space Background

To celebrate the and release of Super Mario Galaxy 2 which will be in the shops tomorrow, I decided to scan one of my spare space-like backgrounds and saved it as an image. This is the same background which was included in my first animation and final major project of BTEC National Diploma Art and Design Level 3, "Star Saviour in Space" and what I used for the "Untouchable Poster" which was a birthday present for and it's based on my "Untouchable" song fanfiction (written in honour of Super Mario Galaxy and the first appearance of the music video for "Untouchable" by Girls Aloud).

In preparation to creating my first animation, I got numerous, large sheets of black paper, white, chalk powder, a spray can (which allows any substance to stick to any type of paper) and a little help from my two classmates: Lucy Codd and Amanda. They were very eager to help me out, probably 'cause they were bored or waiting for something to be done. Once the black paper is trimmed down to a reasonable size, I used the can to spray all over it and we sprinkled the white, chalk powder all over in random directions to make the pitch-black background look starry. Of course, my classmates got carried away and sprinkled the powder on more sheets of paper after spraying all over them. On the bright side, I got plenty of sci-fi backgrounds for future projects. In order to fit the background in the scanner to be used for my cartoon, I have to use the paper trimmer to cut it down to A4 size.

Feel free to use this but you must ask me for permission before inserting it in your artwork or little projects. Don't forget to give me credit and say that the background belongs to me. If you don't ask me for permission, I'll be reporting you to the admins of this website.
