If only I have premium membership, then I would have been able to use that Juniper Lee journal skin. Anyway, I have an idea that's been on my mind lately. I'm thinking of hopefully writing up a Classic Spyro/The Life and Times of Juniper Lee fanfiction crossover at some point in the future. Also, it will serve as my return to fanfiction after a hiatus. Aside from the fact that their jobs and responsibilities (they both protect and fight magical creatures on a daily basis) are similar and they can both skateboard, the composer who composed the background music and the theme song is the same guy who composed the music for Spyro the Dragon, Spyro 2: Gateway To Glimmer, Spyro 3: Year of the Dragon and Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly which happens to be Stewart Copeland. Plus, no one have done this crossover before, fanfiction and fanart wise. The problem is that Juniper Lee cannot physically leave Orchid Bay City 'cause she is the Te Xuan Ze so I have to figure out how to bring :iconoldspyroplz: to her hometown. Come to think of it, what if she have to go on holiday with her family if she really can't leave her homecity? She can't stay in one place forever. I'm thinking of not having Ripto as the main antagonist 'cause he is already the main antagonist in Spyro & Jake Long: Ripto's Revenge (it's a continuation of the Classic Spyro series and American Dragon: Jake Long) and he's been overused. Not to mention, the "portal plot" have been used before, perhaps too many times. The Sorceress would have been a villainess in the possible upcoming crossover but she's already dead. As for Gnasty Gnorc, I don't think he knows any more spells besides turning dragons into crystal statues and transforming gems into Gnorcs. So, picking a villain is going to be difficult. The other problem is wondering who is going to use the banishment spell on :iconoldspyroplz: and Sparx the Dragonfly. If I wanted to bring back The Sorceress, hopefully I can find a way around this dilemma.

Originally, I wanted Juniper Lee and her friends to show up in :iconspyrothedragonplz:'s world but I decided to scrap the idea when her weakness came to mind. Overcoming these restrictions might prove to be a problem. But now is not the time, seeing as I'm currently focusing on my university assignments and the ideas and the storyline of the forth coming crossover haven't been fully developed yet. Furthermore, it doesn't have a title and a summary yet. Hopefully, I should be able to type up this fanfiction during the summer holidays. :fingerscrossed: Unless I have to go to Hong Kong again with my family.

As you can tell, the style of the music in both of these worlds are similar but it's a no brainer who the composer is. Whether I upload this story to this website or Fanfiction.net is anyone's question.

Hmmm... Well, it certainly hasn't been done before! I like how you try to stay true to what is canon in both Spyro and Juniper Lee, respectively. As to how to have Spyro wind up in her world, it's tough to say. Yes, the "portal plot" is kinda cliche, but if no other alternative can be found, it won't necessarily ruin the story (heck, all anyone can do is nitpick, which shouldn't affect how they feel about your story). If you can't think of a pre-existing character from either series to be the villain, you can always make up one.

All in all, I'd say it's worth a shot!

How'd you know that I'm intending to get :iconoldspyroplz: and Juniper Lee in character? So far, all I can think of is one of the villains can use a banishment spell on him. If I wanted to get Juniper Lee and the other characters from the cartoon in character, I have to carry out a lot of research by watching the episodes and reading the articles from The Life and Times of Juniper Lee Wikia. As for :iconspyrothedragonplz:, I already knew how to get him act the way he's supposed to be. All I have to do is get him to be cocky, arrogant, overconfident and stubborn. He's too easy to get in character.

Yeah, the more expressed a character's personality is, the easier it is to replicate.

I could imagine him speaking in his "Tom Kenny" voice in my story.

Cool!  Say, isn't that also the voice of SpongeBob (y'know, before the show started to become dreadful)?

Tom Kenny voiced :iconoldspyroplz: in Spyro 2: Gateway To Glimmer/Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage!, Spyro 3: Year of the Dragon and Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly

Wow, I didn't know that!  Granted, my knowledge of Spyro is pretty subpar, but I did rent Enter the Dragonfly for the GameCube one time.

Tom Kenny also voiced the Electrolls from the Hurricos realm, The Professor, the Alchemist from the Fracture Hills realm and some minor characters from Spyro 2: Gateway To Glimmer. Tom Kenny also voiced Sgt. James Byrd, the Tikis from the Molten Crater realm and some minor characters in Spyro 3: Year of the Dragon. He also provided his voice for the Professors from the Jurassic Jungle realm in Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly.

Wow, I completely forgot about the show Juniper Lee!

I think this is an interesting idea, and it certainly sounds like you've got it planned out well, except for the parts you haven't figured out yet. I think you should do it, especially if you think it's something you'd enjoy writing!

There is even a fanclub for it which is this: :iconjuniperlee-fans:. I still haven't decided if it's going to be set after Spyro 3: Year of the Dragon or in between any of the first three Spyro games. I would have used Ripto but he's already the main antagonist of Spyro & Jake Long: Ripto's Revenge and he's already been overused. Did you know that Stewart Copeland is the composer of The Life and Times of Juniper Lee and Spyro the Dragon, Spyro 2: Gateway To Glimmer, Spyro 3: Year of the Dragon and Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly

If I want to get Juniper Lee and the other characters from the cartoon in character, I have to carry out a lot of research.

I did know about the composer being the same, but only because you said so in your journal! x3

I understand. No matter what someone is writing, they need to do a lot of research! Drawing, too, actually. I need to do a lot of research before I do my artwork. x3 Good luck!! :D

It says so in the ending credits at the end of every episode.

I'm carrying out research to prepare myself to writing up the story and in case people are being nitpicky, saying that I haven't got anyone in character or I have the incorrect information.

Hopefully, it will be just as successful as my current fanfiction crossover, Spyro & Jake Long: Ripto's Revenge. It's a continuation of the old-school :iconoldspyroplz: series and American Dragon: Jake Long

Yeah I am reading it, when I've got the time anyway, it is rather interesting. Though with the explanation you could've saved yourself some time and simply said something like, "Spyro then explains what happened in the Winter Tundra." But hey it's your call.

Try which one I've yet to read, and that would be:5. Yeah I've got a ways to go, like I said I read when I've got time to do so, and that has been taken up a lot lately. But I'll be reading more of it soon.

I can't believe it's been 7 years since I have first written this fanfiction. I was gonna bring this story back 2 years ago in celebration of the Year of the Dragon but unfortunately, I was too caught up with other things.

I know how you feel when it comes to being caught up in things, I am a Gammer so I do tend to get caught up in the chaos of what's going on on my screen, usually multiplayer is where things get the most chaotic.

My university assignments tend to take up the majority of my spare time these days. Hopefully, I can catch up with my hobbies in the summer holidays. Unless my family and I are heading to Hong Kong again. We've been to there too many times, it's hard to count.

I like the fact no one has done it before. That and I can only think of what June is going to do when is sees a cute purple dragon in her town. I can't wait.

Oh did you know that the person who made Juniper Lee. Is the same person who made Berry Ween boy genies. Which Jenny Neutron and Dexter from Dexter's lab are bast off on. :) (Smile)

Originally, I wanted Juniper Lee and her friends to appear in Spyro's world but I scrapped the idea due to Juniper's weakness.

Ray Ray's voice sounds like Lucien Cramp from The Cramp Twins

Makes sense.

In the first episode Ray Ray and June were talking about how they were like Batman and Robin. I mean June was joking around while Ray Ray thought they should get a cave. I loved that.

So, I have to figure out how to get :iconoldspyroplz: to appear in Orchid Bay City.

I've already seen the first episode, I have it on DVD.

The best I can say is Bad Guy showing up there. So he shows up to stop the bad guy. But I'm not you so I don't know what to do really. I can't wait for it.

Where the frag did you fine Juniper Lee on DVD? It's super hard to find?

I was thinking of the bad guy using the banishment spell on Spyro but I don't know which bad guy from the Classic Spyro series should use it.

I bought the DVD at a pound shop in the Manchester Arndale Centre. It costs 1 which is cheap.
